Anesco approved as Green Deal provider in UK
Energy services provider Anesco has secured an approval from the UK government to be the first Green Deal provider in the country
Green Deal is the government's framework that provides for the installation of energy efficiency measures at no upfront cost in both businesses and households.
Payments for the installations are subsequently paid from the savings made by homeowners, resulting in net zero cost.
Commenting on the framework Anesco CEO Adrian Pike remarked that initiative is expected to play a key role in achieving carbon reductions in the UK.
Anesco head of energy efficiency Matthew Tunstall added, "Anesco continues to lead the way when it comes to energy efficiency, for both the domestic and commercial markets, and we're delighted to be approved as a Green Deal provider."
Launched in October 2012 the deal allows homeowners to property assessed for energy efficient improvements with installations expected to start from January 2013.
