City of Dallas Signs Electricity Purchase Contract With TXU Energy

LumiGrow Introduces New Energy Efficient ECC LED Light Bulbs
LumiGrow, a provider of LED lighting, has introduced LumiGrow ECC-R and ECC-FR LED light bulbs for use in environmental control chambers (ECCs) and greenhouses. The new LED bulbs, which provide plants with Red (660nm) and Far Red (740nm), are claimed to use 75% less energy than the traditional incandescent bulbs used for the purpose.

PA DEP Extends Range Of Pennsylvania Home Heating Equipment Rebate Program
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) has extended the scope of the Pennsylvania Home Heating Equipment Rebate Program by offering residents rebates ranging from $250 to $1,000 to replace eligible non-electric residential furnaces, hot water heaters and boilers fueled by home heating oil, natural gas or propane with new Energy Star-rated units.
