Quantum Wins Contract For Hampton Inn & Suites Lighting Retrofit Project

Quantum Energy Solutions, an energy project development division of Octus, has secured a contract for an energy-efficient lighting retrofit project for Hampton Inn & Suites property in Lodi, California.

As per the terms of the contract, Quantum Energy will retrofit the hospitality property's interior and exterior lighting fixtures. This will include the replacement of 100W metal halide parking lot fixtures with 40W induction fixtures.

Lodi Electric Utility's $586,200 in American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funds for energy efficiency programs granted to the municipal-owned utility will be utilized to partially finance the project.

Jim Collins, president of Quantum, said: "This project is a true win-win-win. Octus profits and stimulates the regional economy, the Hampton Inn & Suites significantly reduces its energy costs, and Lodi Electric benefits by helping one of its customers slash their electricity use.
